Happy Customers at Harris Paint Horses... |
It's been an extremely taxing past few months for me with school, having a preemie with umpteen issues, and gearing up for breeding season. And although I chose to not stand him last year to let him recuperate, you ma'am were my only consideration when deciding where he would be sent to stand the 2016 breeding season. In addition, you went above and beyond the call of duty to drive up to PA, pick up Ozzie AND our gelding several months early, due to me giving birth to my son so early. You even brought gifts to my son, which you didn't even have to do, although they are very much cherished and appreciated. You work tirelessly to ensure he is always comfortable. You work tirelessly to ensure he has the best possible mare to tease with his finicky self. You work tirelessly standing there waiting for him to take his sweet ass time in the breeding shed... because as you know... rape is just not his forte'. He's a lover... not a fighter. You put up with his little quirks and mischievous antics... like pulling the plug out of the waterer even after Tim put a bar over it thinking he wouldn't be able to get to it. Surprise!!!! LOL! I love that you keep an open line of communication with me, as well as my customers, and you always ensure my customers are very well taken care of. We are off to a great start this season with several stellar shipments already delivered. I have had nothing but positive feedback from our customers. YOU are the reason I am able to follow my breeding dreams, and I cannot thank you enough for all that you do. I trust you, more than you probably realize. I like the fact that I don't have to worry about my horse when he is with you. I know that he is happy, healthy, loved, and pampered just as he is when he is at home. I also love that I can come and see him whenever I want. Cindy Harris, THANK YOU for everything. You will ALWAYS have my business. And for those of you hunting for an extremely reputable stallion station, I highly recommend Cindy Harris. Quality, professionalism, and a high class facility with superior industry knowledge. There really is no replacement. ~Heidi Schlenker |
I was looking thru the Paint Horse Journal one night last year and saw a picture of the prettiest filly I had ever seen. My husband said "call," "call" to see about her. And so it began a wonderful relationship with Tim and Cindy Harris. As it turned out I was a day late for the filly but Cindy sent me pictures of a most handsome colt by Awesome Andy. "Jackson" is incredible. Great conformation, smart and does his father proud. He won his weanling futurity and stood Reserve Champion his first time out. I have been so taken by what a good minded colt Jackson is that I had to have another Awesome Andy horse. Cindy and Tim are the most fantastic people to deal with. Cindy especially, moved heaven and earth to help me fulfill my dream of owning Jackson's 3/4 brother. He is a big boy, and so sweet to be around. He will try to climb in your back pocket. The disposition of these two Awesome Andy horses is wonderful. There farm is beautiful, everything is spotless. A wonderful place to raise foals and super safe for the mares. I have told everybody I know about Harris Paints and I feel very fortunate that one night last year I called Cindy and I now have a good friend and two beautiful horses. Pat Ashburn |
Just wanted to shoot you a quick note to tell you how awesome Apollo is doing! He trailered in fantastic; only looked around for about 2 minutes and then stepped off the trailer like an old pro who had done it a million times! He is eating great and has been such a treat to watch playing in his stall and paddock. He's just been awesome! He is truly a great example of the high quality, intelligent horses your breeding program produces! Everyone at the barn loves him and he has been entertaining everyone! Thank you so much for giving us the opportunity to own this wonderful little colt...we absolutely adore him! All the people at the barn are so impressed with his manners, how social he us, and how good he is about having hands on him...truly a credit to you! Thank you a million times for everything, especially your patience with us and our frequent visits! We will keep you posted! ~Jenn and Jason Tanner When we made the very difficult decision several years ago to retire from the horse business, the most worrisome part was the realization that we would have to sell our World Champion APHA Stallion Awesome Andy. Purchasing Andy as a yearling and promoting him through to a World Championship as a 2 year old then bringing him home to start a breeding career which quickly put him on the leading sires list, was the culmination of a lifetime dream. Letting go of that dream was heatbreaking - until it became a dream come true; when Cindy Harris contacted us about purchasing Andy we were thrilled. Having worked with Cindy in the past when shipping semen to clients mares we knew of Harris Paint Horses excellent reputation in the industry - both through word of mouth and personal experience. Although we all shed a tear the day Tim and Cindy arrived to take Andy to his new home we have watched with pride as they have taken Andy's breeding career far beyond where we ever could have. Many of our past clients have continued to breed to Andy and all have nothing but great things to say about their experiences with Harris Paint horses. Although there are still days were we regret leaving the horse business, not one day have we ever regretted giving them "our boy". Sincerely David and Mariska Tomlinson, |
"Our experience with Harris Paints and Tim & Cindy Harris was entirely enjoyable. Our stallion was there to be collected, evaluated, and storage provided for frozen semen. Cindy called or emailed often with updates on the process and was always professional, knowledgeable, friendly and easy to communicate with. We have no hesitation in recommending them and their facilities to anyone looking to avail themselves of the Harris' expertise." |
"My husband and I have been doing business with Tim and Cindy Harris for many years. We've visited their site, which is immaculately clean, technologically state-of-the-art, and well set up for the safety of the stallions they stand and those who handle them. We've purchased breedings that have produced seven of our show horses. And most recently they made it possible for us to own the stallion that we bred to five times and is now the cornerstone of our own breeding program. |
Thanks so much for the wonderful service that you have provided to get my mares in foal. Even though we had some problems on my end, you were ever so patient and accommodating to help me get babies. You have been more than fair with me. I love doing business with honest, reputable people. And in my opinion, there is no finer stallion line up than what you have to offer. I plan to continue doing business with you. We've been exceptionally pleased. |
The service and quality found at Harris Paints is as close to perfection that anyone could ask for! "Awesome Andy" got our mare Miranda in foal while she had a grade 2 infection, with 3 day old semen. I have even called late at night to get semen shipped out and you (Cindy) always manage to get it here on time with an extremely high motility rate. Our vet has repeatedly begged us not to breed to any other stallions after working with "Andy" solely based on his extremely high sperm count. |
I can't tell you how much we appreciate how wonderful you've been throughout the years. Our first breeding experience with you was almost 10 years ago and you have always gone 110% above and beyond. You were there in our first years of cooled semen...and you were our first excellent experience with frozen semen as well! We've always been pleased with your friendliness, professionalism, and dedication to great customer service. There hasn't been one time when we've been disappointed, and more times than I can count when we've been very happy with your services. For these many reasons, I've recommended your services to many people over the years and neither I nor they have regretted it. Here's to many more years of great dealings! Christi Oates |
I own and operate a Breeding Facility in Phoenix, Arizona. At my ranch we have mares of all breeds that come in for shipped semen services. I deal with many farms across the country ordering semen. I have had my share of problems with other faciltities until a customer needed an order from Harris. I have been more than pleased with the service I have received from Harris Paints. Jean Simmons |
We bought two horses from Harris Paints in 2007. One was a mare in foal and the other was a two year old mare. Since we live in Italy we could not see these horses in person before we bought them. |
During the summer of 2004 our beloved APHA show mare Garnet Obsession received severe tendon injury in a pasture accident. After three months of stall rest our Veterinarian suggested a year of "retirement" to allow Garnet to heal properly and give her a chance to be as sound as possible. |
First and foremost, Cindy Harris is the most capable woman I know. She is very knowledgeable and professional and knows more about breeding then most veterinarians. I was a hopeful pony breeder when I contacted Harris Paints in 2002. I have now had 12 foals, all conceived AI at Harris Paints. Harris Paints makes breeding easy. Harris Paints means foals in your pasture! Cindy is very generous with sharing her knowledge and facilities. The farm is very clean and organized and you feel good leaving your mares there. Everyone is very friendly and helpful and kind. Cindy pays attention to every detail and keeps meticulous records of the mares and all procedures and medications. My mares never want to come home from the "Harris Hilton".... I always have to have help loading my "self-loading" mares for the return trip...They want to stay! Susan Slaughter |
Having been involved in the horse industry for over twenty years, I have not met anyone else with more knowledge, honesty and integrity as Tim and Cindy Harris. Every time I have a horse there, whether it is a mare that needs to be bred or foaled out, or a show horse to be fit, I know it will be done right by people I know. I always recommend Harris Paints to people who have a mare they are breeding, especially ones who are difficult breeders, and anyone with a mare that will be foaling. There is nowhere else that I know of where you can get services at this level and peace of mind for a price that doesn't prohibit the "average" mare owner from receiving the highest standard of care. |
In 2008 Gary & I bred our APHA Superior Halter mare, Justa Sweet Powerplay, own daughter of Mr Power Play, APHA Superior All-around Champion to Awesome Andy for a late January 2009 foal. Harris Paints were extremely easy to do business with, promptly sent cooled semen at the first request. They are always easy to reach, quick to respond to any request & got the semen to us as requested. We are happy to report our mare settled with the first shipment & we eagerly look forward to the birth of our Awesome Andy foal. |
When my 23 year old mare, Missy, was released from New Bolton Center after a six week stay I was extremely anxious about her postsurgical care ? she had been given less than a 50% chance of survival. I needed to find a facility that offered around the clock supervision and could attend to the needs of a very special patient. Missy had lacerated her hind fetlock joint and had sustained damage to the joint capsule. She had undergone surgery and would wear a splint and bandage system for the next several months with the hope that the wound would heal. Harris Paints was highly recommended to me by my local veterinarian, and when I visited the facility for the first time I knew that my precious horse would be in good hands. |
We just wanted to let you know how happy we were doing business with you this past breeding season. Our mare didn't want to co-operate and |
Last sping I was just getting into breeding and had heard from others how user friendly Harris Paints was for shipping semen. So I decided to use Awsome Andy on my mare, I called Cindy up and the breeding contract was very straight forward and understanding. |
When we were looking for a place to stand our Reserve World Champion (double registered) stallion "Tributes Mister", the name Harris Paints came up numerous times!! We worried living in Arizona, and Harris's lived in Maryland, that we'd never get to see Mister, much less be able to check up on him!! But, after talking with Cindy, I felt confident that it was the right move!! We sent Mister to the Harris's several years ago, and have NEVER regretted the move, not once!! |
